N E W B E G I N N I N G
Spring is on the way in - what is on the way out?
We hear that the world has shrunk into a global village, where things are within ever easier reach. Feeding off this reality, perhaps the popular cultural maxim that "I can be whoever I want to be" taps into a natural human desire to be involved in the rhythm of renewal, through innovation and creativity.
Spring declares the same message - new beginning. It must be no accident that we grew up hearing about "spring cleaning" (rather than "winter cleaning"!). But as we roll up our sleeves and ride the wave of change, how do we keep expectations realistic, avoid throwing out the baby with the bathwater, and enjoy the process?
Come along to this totally free, informal, all-ages event, where we'll explore old and new! Although we're in Lent, since it's a Sunday, it will include spring cocktails and mocktails, a creativity activity with special guest Jo Clo, and a time of praise and worship...
This is an invitation-only celebration - and you can certainly invite people! Ideally we want everyone there to know at least one other person in the room, but space is finite and we need to keep track of numbers. So if you're planning to attend yourself, feel free to think about others who might like to join you, then invite them by giving them the link to this webpage.
Our event is "bring and share" - so if you'd like to eat, or drink something other than spring cocktails/mocktails, please bring snacks and ready-to-eat food with you to share!
Please confirm your own attendance by emailing events@edwinfawcett.com, or by contacting Edwin directly.
